 Its fun, safe, and its environmentally friendly. You can pedal our comfortable and colorful Pedego beach cruisers, use the electric motor with a simple hand twist, or both. Its a great way to both tour the island and get some long overdue exercise. come by for a free test ride. A driver's license is required. Hourly and 1/2 day rentals. The 'Beach Safari" is an hour long, low tide guided cruise along south & east beaches and then back through the maritime forest along Federal Road.

GHOST WALK

 Stroll with Captain Strange down shrouded paths as he revisits over 400 years of ghostly island history. Encounter the haunts of tortured spirits and lost souls; lighthouse keepers and lifesavers, pirates and river pilots, beautiful women and desperate Civil War soldiers. Come face to face with a tapestry of personalities unmatched in the after-world. Beginning Memorial Day through October. 7:30pm begins and ends at the Sail Shop/ Marina. Adults $15, children 5-12 $10.

ISLAND TAXI AND SHUTTLE

New for the summer of 2011, the 'Island Time Taxi' is available for 'on demand' service for your special event or special need: daily 6:30am-9:30pm. Rates are based on your pick-up location and destination. Rates range from $25 to $35. The 'East Beach Express' Shuttle runs an hourly circular route around the island. Hop on and off. Stops include the Lighthouse, Maritime Village, The Conservancy, East Beach, The Shoals Club, The Bald Head Island Club and the Marina: from 10:30am-5:30pm. Dispatch located in the parking lot between The River Pilot Restaurant and Riverside Adventure Co. Daylong pass: $10. Begins Memorial weekend through Labor Day.
