 Experience the trill of sailing aboard one of our 26' J-80 Olympic class sail boats. Let one of our seasoned instructors take you and your family or social group out for a 'fun sail' in the Cape Fear River and Atlantic Ocean. Youth instruction (FUN!) is available aboard our 'Opti' prams and 420s; one to four day instruction and certification for adults available on our j-80s.

BALD HEAD & CAPE CREEK DISCOVERY TOUR

 A century ago, access to the island was by small skiff; half way up Bald Head Creek to the Old Boat House. Today, relax and journey up the creek aboard our comfortable 18' bass boat with our knowledgable captain. One hour tour. For the more adventuresome, discover the wilds of Cape Creek, Kim's Island and Bluff Island. 2 1/2 hour excursions: refreshments and binoculars provided for great bird and wildlife observation.

FISHING ADVENTURES

 Experience a classic coastal NC pastime. Surf fishing classes are offered on East or South Beaches for beginners. For the more adventuresome, explore and fish the back waters of Bald Head and Cape Creeks in our fully equipped bass boat or troll near-shore waters in our 29' C-Hawk. Licensed captain. All equipment and bait provided.

KAYAK & CANOE GUIDED TOURS & RENTALS

 Explore the island's salt marshes and creeks at your own pace or have one of our experienced field guides accompany your group. Our new location, at the Sail Shop, 88 Keelson Row, is now the hub for all your water related island activities. We offer daily guided and unguided kayak and canoe sessions. You can also rent a sit-on-top kayak for the day or week. Join us for our weekday sunset and full moon night guided tours.

SURF CAMP

 Daily individual and group instruction: ninety minute sessions will have you up and 'dropping in' on some great waves on East Beach. For the more experienced, we offer surfboard, ocean kayak and boogie board rentals. Look for out brightly colored tent at Beach Access #39. Or call for reservation and more details.
